With the right ingredients you create the future of Packaging

ISI Plast – ISI-KitchenLab.

ISI Plast is home to the new ISI-KitchenLab, research laboratory, a space dedicated to research and technological development in the field of materials most suitable for Packaging. The vision of a space called ISI-KitchenLab centralises the research of the entire ISI Plast group.

It offers an exclusive programme on innovative technologies for multiple sectors. From construction to healthcare, from industrial and civil use to food and Green… inclusive, environmentally sustainable, recyclable. Founded in early 2020, it already represents a reference for the entire research, development and quality control group, which results in constant technological improvement of products in line with company principles.

The new laboratory is equipped with the most advanced instrumentation to support production processes, and the equipment park has been considerably expanded, with which numerous control tests, research into new materials and consequent development of finished products are carried out. Tests are carried out on all products in order to guarantee the end customer an excellent finished product.

Like a real Kitchen, the aim is to prepare the best, the excellence to be proposed to an ever-increasing range of customers. Certain that our goal is to always be at the cutting edge, making technology and sustainability of materials coexist in synergy, in order to fully embrace an ecosystem in perfect balance with the use of packaging and the surrounding environment.

Customisation Techniques

Select the customisation method best suited to your needs or contact our technicians directly for assistance in making the right choice.
  • Offset

The offset printing technique is used to customise plastic containers according to individual customer requirements. The system makes it possible to reproduce flat-colour graphics using the various colours on the universally recognised pantone scale.

Offset printing is used for customising small cplastic containers up to a maximum of 2 litres.

  • IML (In-Mould Labelling)

IML (In-Mould Labelling) is the transformation process that allows the container to be customised by totally fusing the label with the packaging itself during the injection process.

In Mould Labelling technology makes it possible to achieve a very high print quality and to reproduce special graphic effects and high-resolution images on the containers, ensuring a more attractive result. The IMLlabel is also able to completely cover the wall of the container ensuring a more appealing result.

The ease of recycling should not be underestimated: the container is completely recyclable as the labels are made of plastic like the packaging.

  • Screen printing

Screen printing is a printing technique used to customise plastic containers with customer-specific graphics. This technique allows for the reproduction of up to 4 single spot colours using Pantone references on the international scale.

Screen printing is used for customising medium and large plastic containers with a capacity of more than 2 litres.

  • AD/Adhesive Label

Customisation of ISI Plast plastic containers can also be done by applying adhesive labels directly on site at the customer’s premises.

Adhesive labels are the ideal solution for optimising your warehouse management by reducing stocks and codes to be managed. It also makes production much more flexible as it allows small batches of a given product to be produced only when it needs to be packaged, responding more quickly to market needs.

  • Digitron

Personalisation by means of Toner Laser Printing with Direct Transfer to Objects – DHDT. The new ALL IN LINE – Print in Line to Transfer image systems allow the printed image to be applied to the Packaging without manipulation.

This has resulted in a unique Digital Laser decoration process, offering both manufacturers and Packaging users the freedom to independently print images and apply them to their products. In addition to the advantage of responding immediately to the market, direct digital laser toner printing allows you to profit from each batch of work, whether small, medium or large, to obtain high resolution photographic quality with each type of image.

Offset

The buckets are automatically loaded in a ‘carousel’ that enables continuous printing.
Offset allows detailed images to be reproduced in both spot and halftone.

IML
(In-Mould Labelling)

A pre-printed and pre-drilled plastic label in the proper twist format of the product to be customised is die-cast to the bucket.
This technique allows the reproduction of four-colour images with photographic rendering.

Screen printing

Screen printing allows the reproduction of drawings, graphics and text at the stroke, i.e. in full colour not shaded.

AD
(Adhesive Label)

This technique allows digitally produced adhesive labels to be printed and applied mechanically. It is a technique that allows the production of small quantities.
