Broom Odorosa or Spanish Broom is known for its photosynthetic properties. It is able to absorb huge amounts of CO2 (carbon dioxide) in the air, resulting in significant oxygen production. In addition to being an air-purifying plant, it is an ally in hydrogeological disruptions, its root system keeping the soil stable and preventing the risk of erosion.
It also performs a very important function in keeping the ecosystem of the area stable, the bright yellow blossom attracts numerous pollinating insects, bees that in the pollen produced by the flowers find an indispensable source of food and consequent survival.
ISI Plast‘s new hedges will grow luxuriantly in the vicinity of the automated warehouse about 26 metres high and more than 130 metres long for the storage of about 15,000 pallets, wishing us the development of new bee colonies purifying the surrounding air. The Brooms were chosen on the basis of the area, the context and will contribute concretely to a new improvement.
