PMI Day Industriamoci: Students from IC Boiardo Visit ISI Plast
On December 3rd we had the pleasure of welcoming the students from the IC Boiardo of Scandiano to ISI Plast, as part of the PMI Day Industriamoci — the national initiative promoted by Confindustria that aims to bring young people closer to the world of business.
The day began at ISI Academy, where the students were introduced to our main plastic-molding processes and the safety regulations necessary for working in an industrial environment. Thanks to clear explanations and concrete examples, they were able to understand how a plastic product is made and what technical skills are involved.
The tour then continued inside the production facility: guided by our HSE Manager, the students observed firsthand the different stages of the industrial cycle, discovering cutting-edge technologies, automated machinery, and quality-control systems. It was a direct experience that allowed them to engage with the everyday reality of a company and to appreciate the value of teamwork, precision, and innovation.
Next, the group moved on to ISI-KitchenLab, where our Technical Director explained the importance of testing activities to ensure the quality of our products.
This deeper insight enriched the students’ knowledge and encouraged reflections on the importance of responsible and sustainable choices — even more essential today in the industrial context.
The visit concluded with a Q&A session, during which the students had the opportunity to explore curiosities, career paths, and potential future opportunities in production, design, and engineering.
We are delighted to have contributed to this educational experience and to have opened the doors of our company to young students eager to see the industrial world up close. We continue to believe that initiatives like PMI Day are essential to build a bridge between school and industry — fostering technical culture and conscious orientation.
