ISI Plast at World Cleanup Day

9 October 2025

Sustainability has always been at the heart of ISI Plast’s philosophy. We believe that companies play a key role not only in reducing their environmental impact, but also in promoting a shared culture of responsibility towards our planet.

For this reason, on October 4, 2025, we enthusiastically took part in World Cleanup Day, joining the Plastic Pull project—an initiative organized by Ripuliamoci and Piantando.

World Cleanup Day is a global movement that brings together millions of people in over 190 countries with a common goal: freeing the planet from waste.
ISI Plast chose to actively contribute at a local level by participating in a clean-up activity in the industrial area of Correggio, together with 20 volunteers, including local citizens and ISI Plast employees.
A symbolic location, representing not only a production hub but also a vital and living part of our community’s social fabric. The morning was also attended by Giovanni Viglione, Councillor for the Environment, highlighting the shared value of the initiative.

The initiative resulted in the collection of over 50 bags of mixed waste, around ten bags of glass bottles, as well as several bulky materials such as pipes, metal, and drywall.

For ISI Plast, taking part in this day means turning values into concrete actions: helping reduce pollution, promoting greater environmental awareness, and strengthening our bond with the local community. Every piece of waste collected is one less step toward pollution; every volunteer involved becomes an ambassador of change.

And this is the true outcome of World Cleanup Day: raising awareness, inspiring real action, and building a cleaner future together.
