San Tomaso Middle School of Correggio visits ISI Plast
On December 3rd, the students of San Tomaso Middle School of Correggio had the opportunity to visit our headquarters for a career orientation event designed to bring them closer to the world of work. For ISI Plast, it is essential to contribute to the education of young generations by providing them with a concrete insight into future professional opportunities.
The visit began at ISI Academy, where the students were introduced to the main molding processes and the safety regulations necessary for working in a safe environment. The tour, guided by our Operations Director, allowed the students to observe the entire production cycle in action and see firsthand the cutting-edge technologies being used, thereby increasing their awareness of what it means to be an active part of an industrial context.
The second part of the visit took place at ISI-KitchenLab, our company’s testing laboratory. Here, the Technical Director and his expert team explained the testing activities that ensure the quality and characteristics of our packaging. It was a unique opportunity to understand the importance of inspections and certifications in the sector.
The day concluded with a moment of discussion, during which the students had the chance to ask questions and delve into topics related to the plastic cycle, developing a greater sensitivity towards responsible choices and their personal growth path. This exchange encouraged reflection on the importance of personal commitment and the decisions every young person must face for their future.
