Cav. Riccardo Melli Memorial – Trofeo Special: Sport, Inclusion, and Smiles at the Third Edition

On the afternoon of Sunday, June 15, 2025, the Tetra Pak sports field in Rubiera hosted the 3rd edition of the Cav. Riccardo Melli Memorial – Trofeo Special , an event dedicated to inclusive sports and in memory of a beloved figure in the local community.
Three teams made up of young athletes with disabilities took to the field: Rubierese Special, TSM Formigine, and Atalanta. It was a triangular tournament full of enthusiasm, determination, and above all, smiles—where the true protagonists were the young athletes, supported year-round by passionate and dedicated educators, tutors, and companions.

The atmosphere was simple and genuine, reflecting the spirit of the initiative: a warm audience made up of families, friends, and volunteers who cheered every action from the heart. What made the day truly special was the spontaneity of the shared moments and the visible joy on the participants’ faces.

ISI Plast, a supporter of the event since its first edition, renewed its commitment again this year, reaffirming the value of a kind of sport that breaks down barriers and builds authentic connections. The company warmly thanks everyone who contributed to the organization of the tournament, especially the coaches and sponsors who continue to believe in this project.

The Cav. Riccardo Melli Memorial – Trofeo Special has now become a small but growing tradition, fueled by those who put their hearts into it. The next edition is already on the calendar, with the hope of involving even more organizations and continuing to spread the values of inclusion and sport for all.
