Toghether for inclusion: ISI Plast welcomes Fucina Nefesh

ISI Plast had the pleasure of welcoming the association Fucina Nefesh to its headquarters, with whom it has been actively collaborating since 2024. The association provides support and guidance to individuals facing social and employment-related vulnerabilities, including mild disabilities or recovery pathways from addiction.

This collaboration involves the direct participation of the association’s members in selected operational phases of ISI Plast’s production processes. It represents a tangible contribution to social inclusion and workforce reintegration, while valuing skills, commitment, and a strong sense of responsibility.

During the visit, participants were divided into two groups and had the opportunity to explore both the production facility and the technical office.
The tour of the production department was led by our HSE Manager, who illustrated the various stages of the manufacturing cycle and highlighted the importance of the association’s contribution to ISI Plast.
This hands-on experience allowed participants to engage with the company’s daily operations and to appreciate the value of teamwork, precision, and innovation.

The visit continued in the technical office, where the Technical Director presented the testing and quality control activities that are essential to ensuring the reliability and excellence of ISI Plast products.

The meeting concluded with an open discussion and exchange, giving participants space for questions, insights, and reflections in an atmosphere of sharing and active participation within our internal academy.

For ISI Plast, this experience represents a concrete example of how companies can—and should—play an active role in building a more inclusive society. We firmly believe that work is a fundamental tool for dignity, personal growth, and social integration. For this reason, we remain committed to supporting projects that place people at the center, enhance individual skills, and promote a model of social responsibility based on real, long-lasting actions.

Young Entrepreneurs of Unindustria at ISI Plast

On June 26, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Young Entrepreneurs Group of Unindustria to our headquarters—a network of young entrepreneurs committed to promoting innovation and supporting the growth of local production on a daily basis.

Led by President Marianna Brevini—a young entrepreneur at the helm of an important business association and a spokesperson for values such as innovation, transparency, and equal opportunity—the group aims to create new opportunities for business development and generate real prospects for future generations.

The visit was a truly meaningful moment of exchange for us, during which we had the chance to share who we are, the principles that guide us—innovation, listening, and vision—and the path we are shaping for our future. Participants had the opportunity to tour our production facility, see our processes up close, get to know our products, and interact with RoBee, our humanoid robot and a tangible symbol of our commitment to technological innovation. The visit was also an important opportunity to engage in dialogue around key topics for today’s business world, such as employee well-being, social responsibility, and the active role of companies in building a more sustainable future.

For us, initiatives like this represent a valuable opportunity to open up to the community, share our identity, and strengthen the conversation with those who, like us, believe in a forward-looking economy.

We enthusiastically shared ISI Plast’s vision and future projects, with a particular focus on sustainability—a core value for us, and a guiding principle behind every choice and innovation.

Let’s Clean the World Together

For years, ISI Plast has been committed to sustainability and environmental awareness through concrete initiatives, aiming to promote greater attention to our planet.

Among these, one of the highlights is the support for Ripuliamoci, a voluntary project born in 2021 in Reggio Emilia, which brings together people united by their love for nature and the desire to keep parks and streets clean.
To support this initiative, ISI Plast has donated special buckets to be used as bins during waste collection, making a tangible contribution to environmental protection. A simple yet impactful gesture that helps the volunteers of Ripuliamoci in their daily activities.

Educating New Generations about Sustainability

A fundamental aspect of Ripuliamoci is its ability to involve people of all ages, including younger ones. The group has organized cleaning activities with children from different schools, taking them to clean the areas around the school buildings. This experience not only made the spaces cleaner and more livable but also provided an important opportunity for environmental education.
Involving the younger generation in these initiatives helps convey a clear and practical message: every action counts, and respecting the environment means taking care of our future. Through direct contact with the reality of pollution, children learn the importance of not littering and adopting more responsible behaviors.

Fighting Cigarette Butts with SMOCCHINO

Among the most common waste collected by the group during these activities are cigarette butts, one of the leading causes of urban pollution. To combat this phenomenon, ISI Plast developed SMOCCHINO, a portable ashtray made from 100% recyclable plastic.
Thanks to its practicality, SMOCCHINO offers a concrete solution to prevent cigarette butts from being dispersed in the environment, providing smokers with a sustainable and responsible alternative. This product fits perfectly into ISI Plast’s company philosophy, which for years has been investing in innovative solutions to reduce the environmental impact of plastic and promote good practices.

Inclusion and sustainability for Christmas 2022

Also for this Christmas 2022, ISI Plast has decided to donate the amount of money from Christmas gifts to the inclusive project, which involves more than twenty differently abled children, who, heedless of the seasonal cold, continue to gather in the soccer field with great enthusiasm.

Christmas is in simple, everyday gestures, in caring for others, in the ability to welcome and listen to those around us, and with this sponsorship ISI Plast wants to emphasize its importance.

The new team of the Unione Sportiva Rubierese Calcio was born last summer thanks to a group of volunteers that ISI Plast decided to sponsor for 2 years, concretely demonstrating its strong belief in this new project. Thanks to the company’s sponsorship, the children are taken care of free of charge by the group of volunteers who workout after workout enthusiastically impart greater confidence to all the participants involved.

It is essential to accompany and sensitize children toward group education by helping to create a stimulating, supportive and communicative climate toward others.

ISI Plast sponsors of inclusive sports project for disabled people at Unione Sportiva Rubierese Calcio

The new team of Unione Sportiva Rubierese Calcio continues its project by creating a sports space for boys and girls with disabilities.

On Tuesday evening, October 18, the first meeting was held where 15 boys gathered to play soccer together and start learning the first rules of the playing field under the guidance of Enrico Baroni as a real team.
All this was made possible thanks to the sponsorship of the company ISI Plast S.p.A. and the Melli family.

Says company CEO Gianluca Melli: “Sports is integration, it’s fun and it’s a way to create new friendships. Every kid has an inner world that should not be isolated but integrated. The evening was really special, I saw emotions, participation and many smiles, thanks to the fantastic work of so many volunteers who dedicate part of their time to these kids.

The sense of belonging to a group, the language on the field is that of emotions, of the gestures of each and every boy who got involved. Every smile we could see on the boys’ faces is a revenge on prejudice. There is no judgment when the heart is working.”

ISI Plast has decided to sponsor this project for 2 years, to support social sports and incentivize their excellence that stems from the need to support kids and families who have fragility. Especially in recent years when relational dynamics have become even more complex. A project that uses sport and its values as a tool for social inclusion in synergy with the territory.

ISI Plast, a leading plastics and packaging company, confirms with this project the important and constant commitment aimed at social sustainability and actively supports the surrounding realities, once again emphasizing the choice to continue with charitable initiatives that the company has always maintained for years.
